How a decluttering session works
We start with one room or one cupboard. We take everything out, group like with like and go through it with you. You decide what to keep, what to give away and what to throw out. We never make that choice for you.
Then we put back what you are keeping, with the things you use most in the easiest places to reach.

Do I need to be there?
Yes, for at least part of the session. The decisions about what stays and what goes are yours. Once you have made them, we can finish the room on our own.
Do you throw things away?
Only with your say-so. Nothing leaves the house unless you have agreed to it.
Do you take things to charity shops?
We bag up donations and label them. Ask us about dropping them at a local charity shop when you book.
Do I need to buy storage first?
No. Please wait. Most people need less storage than they expect once they have sorted what they own. At the end we measure up and suggest what to buy.
How long does a room take?
A wardrobe or a small pantry takes a few hours. A full kitchen or a packed spare room can take a day or more. We give you an estimate once we have seen photos.
What is the difference between decluttering and organising?
Decluttering is deciding what to keep. Organising is giving what you keep a place. Most sessions do both.
How much does a home organiser cost?
It depends on the number of rooms, how much there is to sort and how many sessions you want. Send us a few photos and we give you a price for the first session.
