This page explains what Maid by Mel Cleaning Services does with the details you send us. Mel Griffiths is responsible for them.

What we collect

When you send the quote form, we receive your name, phone number, email address, postcode and what you tell us about the job. If you message us on WhatsApp, call or email, we receive whatever you choose to tell us.

Why we collect it

We use your details to reply to you, to prepare your quote and, if you become a customer, to do the work. We do not use them for marketing and we never sell them.

Who handles it

This website does not store your quote request. It sends it to us as an email. These companies process data for us: Cloudflare (sends the quote emails), Google (our Gmail inbox), Vercel (hosts this website) and Fathom Analytics (counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites).

Cookies

This website does not set cookies.

How long we keep it

If you do not become a customer, we delete your quote request within 12 months. If you do, we keep your details for as long as we work for you, and then for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Email info@maidbymel.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
